Parking
The New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts is located at 593 Bloomfield Ave. in Bloomfield, N.J. near the corner of Broad Street. We are 3 blocks west of the Garden State Parkway at exit 148.
From the North
Take the Garden State Parkway South to exit 148 (Bloomfield Ave). Bear right on the exit ramp to traffic light. Take a right at the light onto Montgomery Street. Go to the 2nd traffic light which is Bloomfield Ave. Take a right onto Bloomfield Ave. We are at 593 Bloomfield Ave. Parking: There is a municipal lot behind the12 Miles West Theatre and another municipal lot 1/2 block past (on the opposite side of the street) our studios at 593 Bloomfield Ave.
From the South
Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 148 (Bloomfield Ave). Take the exit ramp to the bottom of the hill staying in the far left lane. Go through the traffic light (you will be crossing Bloomfield Ave) and make the 1st immediate left hand turn. It is a jug handle turn that will bring you back to Bloomfield Ave. Get into the far right lane as you turn around in the jug handle. At the Shell gas station turn right onto Bloomfield Ave. We are at 593 Bloomfield Ave. (after the 2nd traffic light-on the right side of the street).
PARKING
In addition to street parking, there are municipal parking lots on Bloomfield Avenue located 1/2 block west of our studios (on the opposite side of the street). There is also a municipal parking lot behind the 12 Miles West Theatre. Please note that metered parking rules are in effect until 6 pm during the week.
FREE PARKING ON SATURDAYS: Free parking is available on Saturdays at the Farrand Street Parking Lot: Turn onto Ward Street (by the Valero gas station on Bloomfield Avenue). At the stop sign turn left onto Ferrand Street. The parking lot will be on your right. Although the lot is normally for permit parking, on Saturdays there is free unlimited parking.
