The NJ School of Dramatic Arts has comprehensive acting / musical theater / improvisation and TV & Film training programs for the beginning actor to the working professional. Classes are available at all levels for Adults, Teens, and Children and are taught by industry professionals from Theater, TV, and Film.
There is so much to celebrate at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts
as we continue in our 10th year, especially the success of so many
of our students (adults, teens and children) who are working in theater,
film and television as actors and directors.
What sets NJSDA apart from other acting / performing arts schools? The exceptional depth of our multi-level programming means that students are matched to their experience or current ability. Our outstanding staff of professional teaching artists provides the most comprehensive performing / theater arts education program in Northern New Jersey.
Our students have bountiful performance opportunities! Three improv troupes,
Class Acts: our yearly production of one-act plays, the Black Box
Theater Project: our annual production of a full length play at our
NJSDA Theater, frequent casting requests from commercial, film and theater companies,
our program with Montclair State University's BFA Film Department and our own scene night projects provide outlets for students at all levels. Thus the benefits for our students are tremendous. Not only do they receive the highest quality acting / theater education; but because they are in the midst of professional opportunities, students will gain an even deeper education and understanding of what it takes to build a career in the dramatic arts.
The New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax exempt organization. All
contributions are tax deductible and are used for scholarships and to further promote our theatre / performing arts programs. For information on how to make a donation, please contact one of our directors.
